News Flash
There is a Special meeting of the full council at the Causeway House council chamber on 1st August at 7.15pm where there is a motion being put forward to move on to part two of the Local Draft Plan and leave Part one - the Garden Community section - which is causing all the delays in making the plan and thereby allowing all the speculative development to happen.
If you can, you should attend and support the amendment being put forward by James Abbott.
Update on 2nd August
This amendment was defeated by the majority Conservative representation along party political lines. They voted to proceed with Part One of the Local Plan which means there will be further delays - most likely until 2021 - in getting any plan in place, so there continues to be no defense against speculative development.
Poster and Flyer
Below is a POSTER advertising the 7th August meeting that is available to put around the village.
If you scroll right or left there is also a copy of the FLYER that will be in the Parish Magazine in August.
If you would like .pdf copies of either, please fill in the contact form with that request and they will be emailed to the address you supply.
UPDATE: 7th August - There is a new poster available further down this page if you would like one.
